202 stainless steel pipe is one of the most common stainless steel alloys used in construction, manufacturing and machining worldwide. 202 Stainless steel possesses superior mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and economical manufacturing process, which makes it ideal for many applications. 202 stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel originally developed to save nickel, as a low-cost alternative to more traditional austenitic steel grades, such as 304 and 316. Although it is less strong and corrosion-resistant than these steel grades, it has very good formability and weldability. Generally speaking, 202 Stainless steel pipe is widely used in architectural decoration, municipal engineering, highway guardrail, medical device manufacturing and food processing.
