The PE polyethylene pipes and fittings received must undergo acceptance checks. Firstly, the relevant documents such as the product user manual, product certificate of conformity, quality guarantee certificate, and various performance inspection reports should be inspected.
② When inspecting PE polyethylene pipes and fittings, samples should be taken from the same batch, and the specifications, dimensions and appearance performance should be checked in accordance with the current national standard "Polyethylene Materials for Water Supply (PE)". If necessary, comprehensive tests should also be conducted.
Connection of polyethylene water supply pipes for farmland irrigation:
Electrothermal welding property: Using a dedicated electrothermal welding machine, the straight pipes are connected to each other and also to pipe fittings. This method is mostly used for pipes with a diameter of 160mm or less.
2. Hot-melt butt welding connection: The pipes are connected using a dedicated butt welding machine. This method is commonly used for pipes with a diameter of 160mm or larger.
3. Steel-plastic connection: Connections can be made using methods such as flanges or threaded couplings.
